A "must have" at our house

Elastic adjustable waist pants are a must when it comes to my kids. Their cute little bums aren't enough to hold up regular waisted pants. I have only been able to find them in the Genuine Kids brand which only seems to be at Target, and only sometimes do they carry a fairly basic pair of jeans.

I got lucky today. The pants my girls have been wearing for probably more than a year are 18 month size. Luckily they aren't too rough on pants, only a few pairs are starting to show wear in the knees and they are getting a little short. I'm excited to have some to replace them. I would recommend these to anybody.

Despicable Me

Despicable Me, an absolutely adorable movie that my kids completely love and I quite enjoy as well. Thankfully, it's funny, witty, and silly, it's just great!

I had to hurry and take pictures before the movie actually started because once it did, there would be no looking away and definitely not long enough to say "cheese".

"Spickle Me" is a favorite in our house.

Eve's Song

We were sitting in the rocking chair looking out the window and Eve just burst into song. Adi started singing in the background too.

A new approach to blogging

If you haven't noticed I'm trying a different approach to blogging. I've already outdone myself for the past 6 months in the past 2 days, many thanks to Neil and my early Valentine's/birthday present. Which makes blogging for me incredibly easy(as of right now I'm laying in bed, contemplating a nap). I hope to continue on this path of even multiple posts per day. Of course depending on the excitement of that day, but when you're the mom of 2 two year olds life is rarely quiet or boring. So wish me luck and stay tuned!

Haircut for Roo

Today Corinne and my dad came by so I could give Corinne a haircut. It was fun, we took off probably close to 6 inches and trimmed her bangs and put in some layers. I kept teasing her about giving her a mullet if she didn't tell me what she wanted. It was fun so see and talk to my dad and Rinney Roo

Bright and Early

At 5 o'clock this morning this sweet little face came in asking for breakfast. I sat up, lifted her up next to me, ready to stand up and carry her back to her bed, she promptly snuggled up on my pillow and relaxed. Leaving me sitting half asleep and wondering what happened to my warm snuggley spot on the bed.

Adia who we so fondly refer to as "the spot steeler" had stolen my spot. It took me a few minutes to wake up enough to actually realize what had happened. When I finally did, I returned her to her bed with a drink of water, a kiss, and a snuggle. She quickly returned with a "Mommy I need to snuggle Daddy". Knowing none of us would get any sleep if I let her come back to bed with me, I gave her another kiss and promised she could have a Daddy snuggle in the morning. Luckily she only asked for it a couple more times before realizing how tired she was and went back to sleep.
