What Day Is It Again?

So I was on Facebook today and just noticed how many people commented that it was Friday and how exciting that was. When I realized something, I never know what day it is. So when people get all excited about Friday I kinda laugh to myself, shrug, and think "I always think its Friday, in fact I thought yesterday was Friday". Now I'm sure if it was important for me to know what day it was I'd keep track. The only thing that really breaks up my days are Sundays -church, and every other Wednesday and Saturday- Neil has work off. So for the most part I am completely clueless to the day of the week and the date.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there, sorry its late.
Sunday is always a rough day for us because church happens to be right in the middle of nap time for these little dollies. So they snooze on and off during church, but are usually pretty grumpy by the end of it all. So we try to put them down for naps right after church which is usually a process cause they've had a million cat naps already and don't want to go to sleep. So Neil got out his acoustic guitar and just stated playing little songs for them to keep them happy. They enjoyed it very much and eventually fell asleep. So watching them smile at Neil while he played and sang was probably my favorite part of Mother's Day. It was so sweet.

Eve and Adi decided to have a little party under the coffee table today. I thought it was pretty funny that I had to fetch 2 babies out from under the table at the same time.

Showing off the cute skirts Mom got for us while shopping with Grandma May.

Mobility, Teeth, and all that Fun Stuff

So this post is probably the longest post I've ever done. It mostly just has lots and lots of pictures cause I like posted with lots of pictures. So this is for you Grandma Oler!

Some of you may recall back in the day, a post I put up about "Sister Kisses". Well, I do believe the tables have turned and Evelyn has finally been able to return many of the sweet little "kisses" Adia so frequently gave her.
Mobility. Not quite crawling, but that doesn't mean they don't get to where they want to go. Adia under the coffee table. I usually fetch babies from under any kind of table or chair at least 3 or 4 times a day now.
Safety First! Evelyn with her safety glasses on while Daddy works on his latest project.
Also a very frequent situation. I love seeing my little girls interact!
This was too funny not to post. I went to see if Adia was awake and this is what I found. It took all my self control to hold still long enough to take this picture, I was laughing so hard. I'm surprised I didn't wake her up.
Practicing their wrestling moves, I guess.
Neil with his stuff. He doesn't really have any where to keep it all together. So its just spread out. An amp in this corner, a guitar against this wall.
I thought this was pretty funny. They aren't wearing any clothes because I stopped dressing them to let them have their bottles in peace. The next thing I know, they are both snoozing. Yes, Evelyn is laying on her side sleeping, while holding her bottle in her mouth. She can't seem to understand why she can't lay on her belly and drink her bottle at the same time.
A pirate baby. My Eve what a lovely eye patch you have there.
One of Evelyn's favorite things is listening to her Dad sing and play his guitar. I was pretty excited to catch that huge smile she has on just for him.
No matter how much the move, they always seem to stay within reaching distance of each other.
One of my very favorites is when I look over just in time to see them smile at one another. I love it, it melts my heart! I love knowing that they know they are sisters.
Waiting patiently for dinner. Chavonne was nice enough to loan us her bumbo seat, and it has been wonderful.
Uh Oh! Looks like we'll have to find a new place for that.
Adia cut her first tooth May 2nd. I cried, like a baby. It actually turned out to be 2 teeth.
Our first attempt at getting a picture.
The 4th or 5th try we finally got it. They are hard to see but they're there.
And last but certainly not least, the bath tub. They LOVE the bath tub. If nothing can make them happy, the bath tub can. I usually don't put them in together, but Neil was home so I had an extra set of hands.
So there you go. Lots and lots of pictures. I hope you enjoyed them. I love being a mom and being able to enjoy watching my babies grow.
