Walking!

I can now say I officially have 2 walking babies...
I don't know how I should feel about this.
On one had I'm super excited for both of them, their world just got bigger and they're becoming their own little independent selves.
On the other, my itty bitty preemies(or at least thats how I think of them) are growing up too fast, and its heart breaking.

They took "their first steps" back in mid December but always preferred crawling, it was faster and more comfortable.

Adia started actually walking a couple of weeks ago, and has been strolling around like she owns the place since then. And I can honestly say I'm still not used to seeing her walk into the room like its nothing.

Evelyn has known how to walk for a while I'm sure, but she never really cared to show it off or practice. But like rolling over, crawling, and pulling herself to stand she was perfectly content to watch Adia figure it out and then just do it one day. This past Monday I was loading the dishwasher and out of the corner of my eye I see a baby walk up to the kitchen entry from the coffee table. Thinking it was Adia strutting her stuff I glance her way with a smile, and have to take a double take when I see that it's Evelyn standing in the entry way with her big toothless cheesy grin, as if to say "I can do it when I feel like it".

So now the question is...

how is life going to be?

More
bigger
messier
messes to come soon, I'm sure.

That is way exciting that they are walking!! I love that you let them each do things at their own time without pressuring them. You are seriously an awesome parent.

Yep, total mobility = the freedom to do more... and when you have a twin partner in crime... double the fun!

It's so funny how one day, they're crawling and the next, full on walking. It's so fun seeing Carson's head bobbing around the table and counter now too. Hopefully they stay together making their messes and don't wander to opposite ends of the house!?
